Real estate project
Mauerkirchen

Construction of this sustainable real estate project in Mauerkirchen (Upper Austria) was started in 2019. An old, vacant former furniture store is being converted into a family and environmentally friendly rental property with 38 bright family apartments of low-energy standard. During implementation, special focus was placed on maximum and sensible usability of the space. For example, a community garden with a children’s playground is being created on the roof terrace of the building, which will be available to all tenants. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2020.

Schloss Frein am Hausruck

In Frankenburg am Hausruck in Upper Austria, Green Finance revitalised the region’s monument: the historic castle Schloss Frein in the heart of the town was completely renovated in close cooperation with the monument conservation authorities, thus making it usable again for the local population. The facade and characteristic roof were restored, while modern rental apartments and commercial space were created inside. In close cooperation with the Animal Protection Association, the breeding ground of the fifth largest bat colony in Upper Austria was preserved.
